The Bavaria 51 is an impressive spacious cruiser and has large coach roof skylights and side windows which make the interior feel light and airy. The cockpit has twin helm and a large folding leaf table with ample seating area to enjoy a meal. There is an large aft platform making it easy to get on and off the boat and onto the dinghy. Tromsø Base

The base in Tromsø is in Eidkjøsen just outside Tromsø Centre. The base is conveniently located to local amenities and will take you approximately 15 minutes by taxi to reach the marine and your boat from the airport. From outside the airport you can look over the water and see the marina.

AIRPORT TO AND FROM THE BASE

The base is located approximately 8km from the airport.

• Local bus is available from Tromsø Centrum and the Airport to Eidkjosen. (Bus route 42).

• Taxi There is a taxi stand outside the airport.

Taxi for max 4 people at a price of around €25 – 40 Euros.

• Rental cars several rental companies serve Tromsø. There are several parking spaces at the marina.

Provisioning

The Tromsø base is in walking distance to the Eide Handle, a large supermarket approximately 500 meters from the marina where you can purchase all of your provisioning.

All wines and spirits must be purchased at the Vinmonopol (liquor store) which is located near the airport.

There are a wide choice of restaurants in Tromsø that you could choose to dine in.
